Few months ago I got a Glock 17 gen 5 and really liked it; strongly prefer gen 5 grip over gen 3 or 4.
Not too long ago I got a Glock 22 gen 5 and the thicker (heavier) slide is IMO what Glock should have done with 40 from the start; going from shooting the 22 to the 17 there is subjectively little difference in recoil.
Though I live in shorts and a thin shirt all year concealment of a Glock 17 size pistol is not difficult with the right holster. Having a claw helps hold (push) the grip toward my body AIWB; combine that with a loose fit untucked shirt and the 17/22 is easily concealed.
The 22.5 would not fit my 19/17 holster (slide too thick); but, it does fit a 20/21 holster.
