My SIG 226 post 1911 project

2008 SIG P226r e2 grips mods. I covered the grips with granulated rubber over wraps. I used my new Wheeler armorer sight pusher to put on Meprolight Micro RDS QD system with tritium Tru Dot back ups. Gun is a .357sig but I got a factory
40 S&w barrel for easier ammo a availability if necessary. Went with a proven Olight Valkyrie mini light and Holosun 507 red dot . Rob Leahy is making me a Cuda Holster for this combo. . Next week my therapist is certifying me to drive so I'll go sight it in and try the .40 barrel also. The trigger pull went from 13 pound DA and 5.5 SA down to 9 pound DA and 3.5 pounds SA with the Grayguns kit and some polishing of moving parts.

Physical therapist ! I am one month into a knee replacement, with another in October.

Stripped of accessories, covered up on kydex , or stripped waiting for it's Simply Rugged Cuda Holster, my Master Blaster

I wish is was direct fit into the slide ! Alas the Holosun 507K I wanted to put on won't even fit the plate without mickey mouse filing away recoil support.I only found one pistol smith who is Starting to fit the wildly popular Holosun 507K direct Milling into any slide and has yet to do a SIG. When I do find one who can, off will come rear Meprolight sight qd adapter and factory Sig non tritium will go back on , maybe ahead of the other Holosun 507 K I swapped this 507 C with. Meanwhile this will work. All Red dot pistol sights require a different technique to aim with.Thats why I went with QD as it is a " clip on if needed" option. With the .357 SIG barrel the cartridge capibility outrun the iron sights, it is easily a 100 yards cartridge IMHO

Yeah I would too if they sold it to "non Legion members" It is very nice and fits.my 226. I also wanted the .40/.357 Sig convertability, even the ZEV slide is 9mm.however

GMI Holster Co. it is the Gryphon Light bearing model . My gun clicks into place, with the light on. I am getting a Simply Rugged Cuda Classic custom made for with out light , both holsters clear the red Dot.
