Thanks.

I took my wife, daughter, her husband and my grandson to the range. I haven’t been shooting with my daughter in years. She has fibromyalgia so shooting is hard for her, but she went anyway and both her and my grandson decided out of the 4 revolvers that they shot that I brought for the .38 / .357 shooting they liked the model 10-7 best.
She fired my Wadcutter loads only. My grandson shot Wadcutters, .38 Spl 158 grain loads and .357 Magnum 158 great loads. He seemed to enjoy those.

We also brought some .22s to shoot so we took up two lanes and had a great time.

smoking my new Father’s Day pipe.
Oh man, I'm jealous! One of the best things in life as far as I'm concerned is sitting by a campfire with a hot cup of coffee, and pulling a pine bough from the fire to lite a pipe full of good tobacco.
Unfortunately, I had to give my pipe up back in 2005 when a bout with a bacterial pneumonia wiped out the lower thirds of each of my lungs. I still miss it. In fact, I still keep my favorite pipe sitting on an end table in the living room beside my rocking chair, and I still pick it up and stick it in my mouth once in a while - without the tobacco.

Cooked some steaks on the offset smoker and reversed seared them on the gas grill, and had them with onion scalloped potatoes I cut in the meat slicers.
Wife and I sat down for a nice little meal. She got me a 1000 Norma 22lr shells, (left me buy).
Son and his family are on their way to the beach so we get to babysit their cat. They had it scheduled for quite a while.
Oh well, I still felt pretty lucky, the neighbor got a new push mower for his Fathers day gift, Ouch!
