Mosin Nagant 91/30 Hex Receiver

1936 is likely the last year of Hex production you will ever see in the wild. I did see a picture from a trusted source of one dated 1937. We were guessing it was either a "look what I found behind the lathe!" or an older receiver that was re-stamped type of scenario.

I believe the actual year of production might be found stamped under the top tang of the receiver. Requires removing action from stock to see it. So I’ve read.

As said above, the underside of the tang will have a date.
The Soviets rebuilt alot of M-91's into 91/30's. Older recivers were recycled.
The reciver could have been used for a rebuild or was new when barreled and stocked, many Dragoon's were also made into 91/30's.

The facets matter not, tell us how well it shoots!
