Nice, I have 3 Ubertis in 357mag. I couldn't pass up that Nickel Pietta 45 when I saw it locally. Figured I'd stick with Pietta for 45 Colt.

Sitting on the front porch now, cleaning my Dragoon, watching the rain and wind, looks like Ian is coming in about 60 miles south of us, good for us, bad for Venice...

Nice pair right there. I've got a similar pair in stainless.... and like you, shoot BP cartridges. both are in 45....but I'll add a 44-40 at some point....just because....

After more inspection, looks like powder coated, there some spots on the face that rubbed the forcing cone, you can see the metal below and the coating thickness... small spot on the outside of cylinder too, same thing, like where it was laying on a table or something, wore it down...interesting

Any salt water get to the Dragoon?

Did you go out in the yard and shoot any passing sharks with it?

BTW despite the wails and woe as late as Monday the storm has been less than your normal August afternoon thunder boomer up near the west side of Gainesville.

Have not heard from daughter in Orlando yet but she was at a Hurricane Party after 1AM and may be sleeping in…. college Kids!

And to keep on topic of BP …. she commented Sunday when I was down her upset that she could not even have her replica 1849 .31 on campus if things got bad and folks got nasty as some did in Panama City a few years back after a bad storm, Micheal.

No salt water intrusion around here, most of our water receded and then slowing came back in, I dodged it around here, Dragoon is fine, didn't pack it up cause I was spending my time working on it. Glad all is good with you all...
