Factory new barrel from VTI not fitting Uberti 1862 Police

To update this topic, I spoke with them recently to initiate the return and all I can say is I would be very hesitant to do business with VTI in the future. From what I was told, I got the sense that if you even try to put a screw into a gun and it doesn't fit they consider that an attempted "fitting" and won't accept the item back for a return.

Usually on the side of the frame, above the trigger guard. Right side, IIRC

Uberti and Pietta both have them in the same place no matter the model. Right side of frame under the cylinder unless it came through Cimarron or Taylors. In which case it will be somewhere not easily noticed. It it truly doesn't have one it was either removed or a kit gun.

Im not sure I blame them. I’ll bet they get all kinds…
