Well that's not really an accurate quote compared to what was written, but it's close. From my experience, the pedersoli adapter will blow through some fouling that a percussion cap won't. My double 10 gauge has never failed to fire with the 209 adapter, but has failed with percussion caps after shooting a lot without swabbing the bore and picking the nipples. No need to pick the adapter or swab the bore when using the adapters. That said, I put the percussion nipples back on it because it's easier to pick the nipples than fiddle with the top of the adapter.
