So the time has come, I’ve outgrown the sizing die offerings from Lee.
I’m looking at getting the sizing die that NOE makes. Does anyone have experience with this die? If there is another die from a different company I’m not aware of that works better I’m interested to hear about it.
Thanks

Doesn’t take much to make a bullet sizer. You just need a hole that tapers to the diameter you want.

This is the first one I made, a hunk of stainless bored to size then taper reamed for a lead in, held in place with a set collar.

I like the lee sizing bushings that go into the breech lock die, they're cheap and available in every size you could want. Like this-

This has all available sizes

I used them in an app but any press does fine if you put the breech lock adapter in. I think its ideal because the bushings don't take up much space and they're darn cheap.

I use the NOE system. Al will make any size you want, just call (or email) and ask. No custom charge, no setup charge.
The sizers can be purchased individually; after the initial setup, one needn't purchase another 'kit'.
I have found his sizers to be accurate; I've checked with pin gauges.

The problem I ran in to with the Lee system was the lack of available sizes. And, with the Lee system one has to purchase the pushrod with every sizer. No matter if you already have the needed pushrod size, another must be purchased.

I recently bought the NOE system to replace my Lee because they have an adapter that allows the use of top punches so I can run bullets through base first. I bought it to apply aluminum gas checks (a la Pat Marlin's Checkmaker). I have only run a handful through it and found that it is smearing the checks overmuch. The Lee did the same thing initially and combination of polishing the die and a bit more lube helped immensely.

Overall, I am pleased with the build quality and the tolerances are tight enough that it take a bit of wiggling to get the thing apart when I want to change top punches or bushings. Another thing I noted is that, when feeding bullets through base first using a top punch, they do not completely clear the bushing. If I am only doing a few test cases, I need to swap back to the push rod to clear the bushing or disassemble it and use other means. It is not a big deal to drop drop the bushing out and nudge the bullet through with a squib rod or similar.
