Seems like a lot of us stumbled into the IT world from various places, too. I guess there’s something about working with information at a high level that makes people feel the need to be well armed.
Many in IT world support the public domain license/Open Source/free sharing of information concepts to solve problems to resolution quickly.

I consider public gun forums like THR similar to public domain license/Open Source/free sharing of shooting/reloading related information to solve problems quickly using combined knowledge base of "We the People".

There are tons of good people here with priceless knowledge.
If you haven't already; I highly recommend perusing the archives here as well. Lots more info from good people that have come and gone before us.

rcmodel springs to mind.
Oh my, rcmodel.was.totally amazing and always willing to help anyone who needed help.
I sure miss him, we used to chat a lot in PM.
May he rest in peace...

There are a lot of good people here who have Decades of loading experience and are willing to share it. That is what makes this forum one of the best on the Internet for sure!

I would only change above GOOD to GREAT!!! + 1, 2, & 3 on "Best on the Internet"!!! Helped me on a regular basis as a resource with general wisdom, common sense, hand gun and hand loading knowledge!

Welcome Aboard!!! Spread the word!!! God Bless!!!

I learned neck tension vs. crimp!

and live primers can be poped out and reseated and it’s very hard to destroy them

@OFFGRID come over to the darkside… Black Powder Section!! if you want to have some real fun!!!

I agree with all post. Great bunch of people here, willing to guide and correct any misplaced knowledge.

I don't think I would have been brave enough to actually load and shoot my own ammo if I didn't have some support group to turn to.

I found the forum after him, but sounded like he was a very knowledgeable hombre……
There’s a few here that really know their stuff, and not ALL of them are long in the tooth ….!!

I was a longtime "lurker" before I created an account here.

He was one that I always looked forward to his input.

I had no idea he had passed.

RIP
