I am new here and have asked several questions in the Reloading section, some very "newbie" questions. Every single question has been answered with respect and sincerity. No one here makes you fell dumb or silly or asking and that means a lot to a newcomer. A newcomer to the site and the hobby of reloading. I like it here and I really appreciate you guys!
Thanks!!! David

One of the only discussion boards I participate in.

Once in a while people go for the throat, but it's usually with good cause, Our Mods may be heavy handed at times, but it certainly helps to keep things civil.

Glad to have you aboard, neighbor.

and many don't have local friends to help

Exactly! That is what makes this forum and it's members knowledge so valuable!

Tell it to the Handloading & Reloading forum that helped you, you big silly dummy!!!!

These General Gun Discussions people didn't do nothing!! :neener:

Just joking around! :D :D :D

And thanks for the thanks!
We don't get an awful lot of those!

I know RCModel does not remember it, but back when I first got into loading, he helped me out a bunch. Thanks RC

Dave you are very welcome. Remember one thing. The only dumb question is the one you do NOT ask. That may be the one to get you in trouble. Keep asking and we will try to keep on giving you good answers. :)

Dave,
Every single one of us had to start somewhere and most of us had help in one form or another. It's only right to pay it forward. I don't remember if I posted in any of your threads but I hope I was of some help... Welcome to this addiction called reloading!

Dave, thanks for the post. You're welcome. Just two years ago I was a newbie asking stupid questions on this board. I learned to reload with a Lyman manual and the advice I found here.

The best way to say thanks is to stay part of the community, learn as much as you can, & help the next guy when you can.
Don't pass hypothesis as fact. If you don't know it from seeing it I point at the place I got the info.
Good luck.

Everyone starts at some point and has questions along the way. Here there is a good group to help out with questions or problems. Its a good site to just sit in the recliner with the tablet and read. Ive had questions i didnt even think of that i was going to run into, they were asked and answered so i didnt need to ask when i ran into the question.

Same to you !!

Dave -
You know that 'help' cuts both ways. Some of us older reloaders get stuck in a rut from time to time, and by helping you we stay up on the latest innovations.

If you want to be as sharp as RC, Walkalong and some of the others, then not only do you have to get up early, but you have to stay connected and interact.

Thank you for the opportunity. ;)

Funny you should say that rf. I was talking to an older reloader yesterday and mentioned a RCBS lockout die and he said, "a what!" When I told him what is was he loved it.

SC Dave,

I have reloaded for 50 years, in that time I have worn out one Dillon 550 and am wearing out a second one.

Just when I think that I know what I am doing, I read something on a reloading board that lights up a light bulb for me. You never learn it all.

I am now into bullet casting and am amazed at the depth of knowldege for that endeavor. I won't live long enough to know all the tips, traps, and tricks. I am producing pretty accurate bullets now, but I am amazed at what I haven't learned yet.

Keep trying, don't be afraid to keep asking.

Nice to see some appreciation, even though I don't think I've contributed to any of your questions. I appreciate folks like you that ASK the questions. There's always more to learn, and sometimes it's through questions others ask, that I find out what a didn't even know that I didn't know. There's a great deal of knowledge available here, and I read as much of this site as time allows, in an attempt to increase my knowledge base. When you think about it, there are many centuries of reloading experience represented here, and I know I won't ever be able to learn it all, but luckily, someone else has already learned it and is willing to pass it along in these forums.

I'd like to add my thanks to the members here.
