Any mods to help keep powder in the flash pan.

How it's usually done is to "smoke" either the pan or frizzen, close and open it a few times, and then file your high spots. Repeat many times. Hopefully you bumped the pan, or it didn't close all the way, and there is no problem! All that hot air for naught!

This!! I can carry mine sideways, shake it upside down, it doesn't matter, the powder is always still there!
 
Truth. If I'm sitting watching a trail, I'll open the pan and settle it level, but otherwise doesn't really seem to matter. Certainly can't keep it level just carrying it around, laying it down or leaning against a tree, etc. (I always lay mine down if possible)
 
my rmc has a L&R lock that has a resess in the pan that the bottom of the frizzen fits in, no pan powder lost, i also use fff for the pan and barrel.
