Kudos to Benchmade

I sent my beater knife in to get sharpened and replacement handles and in about two weeks it came back looking like new for the cost of one way shipping. Note these handles are rubberized and apparently come with a lifetime warranty.

Could you have gotten a completely new knife from them?

I don’t think so unless they ran out of replacement parts. I was just happy to get new parts

I would think it would be more cost effective for them to just replace the knife than replace parts. But either way they did you right. If does look like new.

I’ve taken advantage of their $25 blade replacements several times. I ruined an Axis AFCK and Ares blade on a couple of occasions and they replaced them with different ones. The AFCK got a TSEK blade and the Ares got a plain edge blade instead of half serrated. Due to my abuse I doubt they would have done it for free but those were bargains for basically new knives. The handles were unscathed.

No but imagine the thumb studs fell out and the grey part of handles had tears in them on the front and back edges. This knife does feel great in the hand

I have also had great luck with Benchmade's customer service. I had a pocket clip that was stretched and they promptly sent a replacement out in a couple of days
