Does anyone have dimensions for the OEM moonclips that come with a the S&W 627? The ones marked "TK"
Trying to make something for someone but don't have a clip to measure.
Looking for outside diameter, inside diameter, and thickness. Preferably measured with a dial caliper.
Thanks in advance.

The thickness will be .025 inches for the OEM TK Custom 627 Moonclip. I have heaps of 627 moonclips but I am not sure if any are the OEM ones (since I bought my 627 used and most of my moonclips are Revolver Supply not TK Custom) but I will look and see, if I do I will post more dimensions.

Thanks.
Biggest thing I need is the diameter of the inside opening.
Looks to be a lot of variation between brands from what I can tell.

I don't want to buy any as I don't have a 627.
I'm making a moonclip loader for someone and am trying to determine the mandrel size. They don't live close by and don't have a more accurate way of measuring than a measuring tape

I’d suggest your friend to get a BMT Equipped moon clip loader/unloader. They can be a bit pricey for some but once you use one, you wondered how you lived without.

On the other hand, TK Custom moon clips are good things. They are consistent. I have several revolvers that are moon clip capable, but no 627 guns. I’d rather buy TK Custom moon clips than any other.

I have a BMT for my 625's. I love the unloading function, it works great.

This loader is going to be a 3D printed endeavor, so a fairly inexpensive proof of concept type thing. I've already made on for the 625, just trying to get dimensions to adapt to the 627

Almost forgot, I looked and I do not have any TK custom. All my 627 moonclips are Revolver Supply and Ranch products.

The ID is ~.68 and OD ~1.42.

If you make your arbors for you moonclip holder from 9/16 rod it will work with any N-frame moonclips.

This is my North Mountain moonclip server. It works with moonclips for my 627, 625, and 610.
