Two-tone 1911

Anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a 1911 that has a stainless frame with a glossy pitch black slide. I had a vision of this 1911 in a dream and wanted to know if I'd have to custom build one or not.

You just described the Colt Combat Elite. I have one. Nice gun. But it seems to have gained obscurity.

Thanks for all the responses you guys. Especially to you Marshall and Black Majik for providing the pics. Some of those look expensive and I'm really looking for one under $1000. I know the Springer fits the bill....are there any others?

From the Colt Custom Shop and Lew Horton...Classic Gold Cup with polished stainless frame and deep blued slide. Only 300 were ever produced. (Grips by Esmerelda)

P.S. Picked it up used at a gun show for $950
