They are hogue wrap arpund grips - U can get them for around $16-$18. I actually got rid of them a few months ago - they are fatter, than stock grips, so they made the gun too fat. I went back to the stock grips in Nov and sold them.

She doesn't carry the gun, but does like to shoot it. In fact, she recently picked up a 6" Colt Anaconda to go with it. Recoil isn't a problem for her when shooting 185 or 240 gr factory magnum loads. Usually, she doesn't shoot more than 30 rounds at a time, though. She'll often switch between Special and Magnum loads when at the range. Soon, we'll probably be reloading for it.

Shipwreck: Hows the accuracy and trigger pull of your SW 99? I like the looks of it.

It is a Remington 700 adl in 30-06. I found an amazing deal on it at Wal-Mart about a month back. It was marked all the way down to 279$ NIB

Lunde and Volk are the best sources of firearms related photography I have come across.

I've been looking for a nice new 30-06 bolt rifle with iron sights. I'll have to give the 700 adl a look.
