I posted in accessories looking for a 2 rifle case that didn't scream gun and got 0 replies. I though maybe here.

I don't want to haul a wagon around. I have a range bag that will hold enough ammo for a 3 gun match and my pistol, belt, ears etc.

I would like some kind of soft case, possibly with back pack straps that will hold my shotgun and rifle. Any ideas?

I actually would consider that cart.

My issue now is that I live in an urban area and need to get my rifle and shotgun out of my house without dragging 2 rifle looking cases out. I want to find a soft sided 2 long gun case. If I can get that I may start looking into carts to haul around my stuff once it's at the range.

Thanks for the link though.

Are you from the Holmen club? There was one wisconi club close the twin cities and I will hopefully shoot there if I can ever get equipment ready.

A holster, two rifle slings, and my range bag. Is it a pain, yeah, but it works.

I met some guy that converted a baby stroller. Worked great for him.

bofe954: yep, Holmen is kind of my "home" club. I help out Ronnie (the MD) with USPSA as much as I can; and I'm on the board of the club. You should really try to make it down for a 3-gun match! They are tons of fun, and Holmen is only about 2.5 hours from the twin cities. You can even camp on the club grounds if you like and stay over for the USPSA match the next day.

If you want something unobtrusive and with backpack straps, check out guitar gig bags at your local music store. I don't know if there is one large enough to hold two guns, though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I emailed i-shot so I can get the dimensions of their bags. A little more than I was looking to spend but...

My range bag is actually i-shot and I have one of their modified pistol rugs with the pouches and mag holders. I'd like to get another of the pistol rugs.

The SWAT article on their site said that they were going to make a lower budget civie version of the SERT without the molle stuff. Did they ever?

Hey guys,

Just caught this thread this morning. Bofe954, I decided to hold off on the civvie version because the current one was/is doing very well for us. I took a look at the numbers (price comparison with others) and realized that there will be a lot of competition in the price range for the civvie one. I was concern it might not do as well for us but some folks at last week's SHOT Show have convinced me to consider otherwise. It was the quality, they said, that will make the difference.

So, back to the drawing board I go with a new 'civvie' design in mind including a full fledge 3-gun case with a detachable backpack strap; something we've been working on for years without success. This is one case I owe to Kyle Lamb of Viking Tactics becos' it was his idea.

It's going to be an interesting year guys, that I promise you. Our focus is now on specialty bags and cases, including some takedown cases we showed at SHOT.

I've been off the forum for too long. I will keep everyone posted on on-going developments.

I am thinking lately that the case will have to accomodate an M1A and an 870...:what:

They have some discreet carry cases for rifles that might fit the bill for you. There was a group buy on some blue cases on ar15.com that recently ended and they certainly didn't look much like a rifle case. Their standard black due to its shape should be good enough for what you need though.

You know the wife just bought a sewing machine and I have eyeing it...Might need to see what kind of fabrics, zippers etc. I can get my hands on. I could spend a fair amount of time on it to save 100-200 bucks and have it be custom made to my needs.
