The only gun I've ever bought because it was irresistibly cute is my Walther PPK. It's turned out to be a pretty good shooter.

I recommend the magazine with the extended floor plate: it really does improve your grip.

oh yeh!!
as far as the magazine, yes i intend to buy one with the extension.
just a few more days and it will be here............im looking at the mitch rosen "workman" tuckable holster to go along with it.
i figure a fine gun needs a fine holster.

But a Sig p230 stainless is nicer. :p

7/8" thick, and the mags all have a finger extension:

yeh but what about that mag release?
while you are useing your left hand to remove your empty mag, i have already dropped my empty one and reloaded......waiting for you to get the second one in.............

Whatever the .380... stoke it with CorBon. I can't imagine any other round would really be much of a defense round in this mouse caliber. My Colt Mustang runs great on Corbon .380, but I'd sure hate to have to rely on it instead of one of my .45's.

To do a fast reload of a Sig 230/232 or an HK PSP you hold the gun steady with your right hand, draw the second mag, then bring it up close to the magwell. With the thumb of your left hand you activate the mag release and then slide the new mag as soon as the first mag drops.

Really doesn't take much time at all -- try it, you'll see. I actually prefer the Eurostyle bottom mag release for flat "deep carry" guns. No chance of accidentally dropping or unlocking a mag during holstering. And it is definitely better for ankle carry.

hmm well i have skinny ankles so i wouldnt carry one on my leg anyway............besides..............just look what Gun Bond carried? i mean if its good enough for Bond.......................right?

Funny, I had always wanted one of those Walthers, but after a 18 year habit, I've never gotten around to buying one. Congrats on the nw addition!
