I just saw one for the first time and I am curious about it. Are they reliable? Accurate? They look good.

I don't have one, so take this with a grain of salt.

Being based on the CZ 75 design I'm sure they'd be good and I haven't heard anything bad.

They look exactly like the Baby Eagles which I think look great. The Jericho has a frame mounted cocked and locked safety, the way it should be (IMHO). Baby Eagles have a slide mounted hammer dropping safety.

I think all of them have steel frames, which feel great in the hand, but can be a bit heavy for concealed carry.

I'm always keeping my eye out for a nice one at a good price. Don't see very many of them though.

Hopefully some owners will chime in with real world experience.

Search here on THR and you will find many previous threads on the Jericho/Baby Eagle, with most past or present owners sounding off in favor of the product.

The Jericho 941 is my first semi-auto. When I got it from the store, I immediately tested it with 500 rounds of assorted ammo. I have no malfunction of any kind. In fact, I never had one.

My only complaints are the folowing:

- the black/blue finish easily acquires rust under normal use
- the sights are too bulky and snags on an IWB holster
- the beavertail is too long and also snags on the IWB holster
- trigger is probably at 12 lbs. on DA and about 7-8 lbs. on SA
- somewhat difficult to rack the slide if you have big hands

As a self-defense gun, this one easily surpasses my standards due to its reliability. I forgot to say that accuracy is excellent too.

The baby eagle and 941 are the exact same pistol, some 941's have a slide mounted safety and some early baby eagle's have a frame mounted safety, Magnum Research is sort of IMI’s liaison in North America.

When the 941 first came out you could get it in a set with two barrels and if I remember right 4 mags, one barrel and two of the mags were for 9mm and the other barrel and mags were for 41AE hence 941 but the 41AE never caught on and after a while the pistol was only offered in 9mm or (at the time new) 40sw.

I don’t own one but I have always heard good things about them and they are good enough for the Israeli defense forces.

Spike uses one, so they must be good. How many other guns will be around hundreds of years in the future?

Japanese animation...ugh. Almost makes me dislike the gun. Well not really. Im gonna have to get one.

Hmmm Israel and Italy. I like both of those countries especially Israel. Man I need one of these NOW. Too bad Im cash poor. There would be one in my safe this instant! I like their force police R too. Any info on that?

Also, I like the longer bbl eagle. What kind of accuracy/velocity difference can I expect between the subcompact and the full size.

Still think it was a bad marketing decision to name a pistol that.

Would you name a pistol after something that fell to pieces after a loud noise? :D

Hey, now, the Ghost in the Shell series is decent. And one of the characters even carries a Mateba autorevolver!

Plus some neat believable tricks, like a sniper (via satellite link) able to see wind speed and direction as shifting color patterns in his scope.

Doesn't surprise me to see this one in a series, either. The Japanese can't have guns, so they're utterly fascinated by them, and downright worship the details of them as evidenced by the rampant airsoft industry.

I can take a little heft. Whats the weight difference between the semi-compact and the full size?
