This day brings back memories. On March 4th, 1969, A CO 3/8th Inf,4th Inf Div lost over 100 KIA. My company,D CO, went from 140+ men to 35 as we had over 100 KIA and WIA. B Co was trying to get to us and took 50% casulaties. On this day,I just wanted my Brothers to be remembered. Byron

Byron,
I never saw combat. I will never forget the debit I owe to those who did and returned, and the even larger debit to those who didn't return.

Uncle Sam never saw fit to send me into combat and I"ll never know why since virtually everyone I served with was there at one time or another during my 4 years of active duty.

That is one thing that I will always regret, that I wasn't there with the rest of my buds.

To those of you that were, I salute you.

guess this is the place to do so...

i just wanted to thank all the veterans who are out there. there is really no way to express my thanks, but i appreciate it. one of my very best friends is in Iraq right now, so i pray for him and all soldiers, past and present.

thank you.
