I think she did. She said she got me a gift but it was so unexpected and there's no occasion so I suspect a joke.

should take her shooting and present the new .22 then ( id say get her a fancy presentation type one. with some engraving and what not)

i am married have been for over 2 years now. my wife greatly supports my firearm interest, even wants her own permit now. assuming you love her for a lot more than her love of firearms, you have been together for 5 years

I will. We've talked about it but we're only 20 years old and I don't have a job that would allow me to support her yet (almost done with my bachelor's degree so hopefully that will change soon)

TheArchDuke is not yet twenty-one years of age and he is still in school. The last thing we should be doing is encouraging marriage. It's too soon and he needs to graduate and find a stable job before even considering engagement. He is young and idealistic...he needs to make sure things are just as smooth another two or three years in the future after he has a few dollars in his bank account.

That's a thoughtful gift.

It shows that she appreciates and respects what you think is important. Anyone can buy a few DVD's or a PS2 or a bigscreen... but they don't really mean much (as cool as they are).

No need to propose to her over something like this (if that's even what she got you)... lol there really ARE more imporant issues in marriage than gun control, no matter what this board thinks.

But, it's a big plus. Definitely worth holding on to her for a while.

Good luck. I like NRA memberships... they help all of us.
 
Many a young male has been caught that way....females always know what is on a male's mind....and capitalize on it every way they can...whether it be guns....NRA memberships or.......maybe even....bullets :D . Buy her something to remember you by....a SD weapon....like OFF :)
But after the degree....don't wait too long...:(

At 20 I think I would think twice. Wives take a dim view of girlfriends. So many and so little time!:eek:

Just kidding! Who knows it might work out. Stranger things have happened.;)
