They deserve a raise

Now this is the kind of girl you can take home to meet mom!

This photo was taken by a soldier in Afghanistan of a helo rescue mission. The pilot is a PA Guard guy who flies EMS choppers in civilian life. Now how many people on the planet you reckon could set the rear end of a chopper down on the roof top of a shack on a steep mountain cliff and hold it there while soldiers load wounded men in the rear??? If this does not impress you, nothing ever will. Gives me the chills and a serious case of the vertigo ... I can't even imagine having the nerve ... Much less the talent and ability. God Bless our military!!!!!

3. How could the guy in the upper left have a beard? Relaxed grooming standards? He is a foreign exchange solider?

Saw some vid footage of some sepc. ops in Afghanistan they all had beards, trying to blend in maybe? Also some wore t-shirts and/or rags etc not issue shirts but with issue pants.

Our guys, they have been equalled to the US Rangers by US forces. They get paid, btw, around 2000 bucks per month.

The US Constitution clearly says 'to provide for the common defense'. It says nothing about things like 'provide for midnight basketball' or 'sove all the problems of the world' or 'study the reproductive cycle of earthworms' or 'build a space station on the moon'. We should take the money we spend on other crap and give it to the men and women who defend us.
