They deserve a raise

Every time I see just how young some of our troops are I feel like I should be over there protecting them.

No kidding. Cammies and a rifle make them look tough... make them look serious. It sure doesn't make them look grown up.

Raise their pay, and raise the enlistment age to 25.
 
legionnaire,the photos are from various sources off the net,I enjoy getting them.I wanted to included various aircraft and MOS but to keep this thread on topic with the forum I was advised by a moderator to keep it with weapons ala small arms.Im using a photo sharing site to keep bandwidth down.

I would include America's allies but I have'nt found many photos of.No personal photos from me,while my dad put in 20 years in the army I have not.

Fosbery,I looked at the photo of the woman with the M2,looking at it again it may be that she is not military,I saw her blue clothes and thought she might be navy.

The photo of the G3's being fired looks like a mix of American and middle eastern soldiers.Possibly from the Gulf war.

when I find more worthy photos Ill update.Personal photos by members are even better...makes it more personal.thanks
 
Thanks for the comeback; say again, great collection. I was wondering about the woman behind the machine gun. Thought maybe you'd dropped that one in to see how observant we are. Kind of a strange feeling to be looking at a pretty face, and realize at the same time you have the barrel of that gun pointed directly at your chest!
 
Have soldiers always been that young? Earlier posts are right, They seem to be barely more than childeren. These young men and women shoulder a huge responsiblity in order to protect us. Thank God for our heroes. May God keep them until they are out of harm's way and may God rain death on their [our] enemies!

This might sound as a strange request. If you have any of the kind of quality of the pictures your posting, of Huey helicopters (more of them) and/ or helicopters in general, be appreciated.

troutman Im a helicopter fanatic, Ive been up in a Jetranger and Hughes 500 a few times and never came back down lol!.While most when flying would sightsee I tend to bombard the pilot with tech questions and watch him fly.

I guess it started when my dad would take me to the flightline at Ft Rucker and show me the Hueys.I have ALOT of helo pics,watch for my next update but I must keep it on topic so I try to find ones that include smallarms.

If you like aviation,look at www.airliners.net,you'll find what you are looking for there....
