When Im feeling nostalgic I will grab my old Model 10 and slide it in an equally old belt holster.

I have no problem concealing it with a shirt one size to big.

aaronrkelly, I believe the old model 10 I still carry at times in a nylon IWB holster lived a harder life than your's before it came to me. Made in 1969 and supposedly a confiscated gun by one of the northeast PDs and then sold to a dealer for resale. Worn bluing and a bit dinged but still tight as ever, very smooth and it shoots where pointed. These guns are overlooked by many today because they don't have high cap mags and aren't "cool" but they are unpretentious, reliable, and still will do the job intended.

Every so often I carry my custom Model 66 k-frame just for fun. It's not my normal carry gun by any means, but on occasion I just like to feel like I'm carrying class :) When I do carry it, I just use an old bianchi hip holster. it's difficult to conceal under normal clothing, but it works under a suit jacket or any coat I suppose in the wintertime.
I tried to take a picture somewhat like arronkelly's , but it's too dark and had too much flash. Oh well. Oh and I threw some snakeloads in the speedloader just to make it look interesting.

I do. Carried it Monday evening.
Top pic is M 66 & DeSantis speed scabbard. Holds it close & anchored solid. I am 5'10" tall & the 4" barrel is no trouble to draw & comfortable sitting. Carry one HKS speed loader. When casual dressed I cover w/ a Mom made vest. She is professional quality seemstress.
Working I cover w/ 5.11 & when dirty work is going on I cover w/ heavy cotton shirt. Winter carry mostly.

Bottom pic is the modification I made on the holster. took the outside wing off & it reholsters much, Much, MUCH, easier. Weight would be a factor for some. I have carried so long that it is a no issue.
Some like'em & some dont. I :D

I've carried 3" and 4" N frames and a 4 5/8" Blackhawk without problem, both on belt and IWB. It's easier during fall and winter, but nothing more than a thick untucked shirt is required for a cover garment.

For reference, I'm 5'6", and getting chubby if I go over 156 lbs.

I carried a S&W model 66 in a Bianchi Shadow II holster without a problem. The key is a jacket to conceal the revolver.

I occasionally carry my 4" 66-1 in a Bagmaster IWB clip holster or a Bianchi Accumold OWB. If I find myself carrying it more I may spring for an El Paso Saddlery Street Combat holster.

Bagmasters are homely, but they sure are comfortable!

Various 4" Model 19s and 66s have been my CCW pieces off and on over the years. I reacquired a Model 19 last year and plan on CCWing it again once I find a good speedloader pouch to match to the Safariland thumb-break rig I've picked up for it. Outside the waistband, under a light jacket or untucked shirt will work nice for cooler weather carry!

I don't have to carry often, but when I do carry, I carry a S&W 19-4 in a ready tactical kydex paddle holster. I love that gun. it's not the lightest thing in the world, but loaded with hydrashoks, it packs a helluva punch. I carry one KHS speedloader with it. I've got an old bianchi leather holster with it, but i like the way the kydex slides so smoothly. I also use this as my IDPA setup. I'll try to post picts sometime.
