Any here of average build carry a G21 strongside IWB? Considering this or a G30. I know the G30 is alot smaller but I like the way the G21 points. Thanks

I have a Glock 20, but no plans to carry it IWB. It's the "coat" or "fanny pack" gun. That big grip is pretty hard to hide. A 31 is a bit thick, but much more managable. Largest gun I've comfortably carried IWB is my CZ 75B. It has some wearer friendly relief cuts around the muzzle end. :)

I have never tried to carry my G20 or G21 in a IWB holster, but I suspect it would defiantly print some during summer months carrying. I do however, conceal carry my G29 and G30 in a kydex IWB holster all year around with no problems at all (doesn't print that much even during the summer time cover t-shirts (even with Pearce +0 pinky finger mag floor plates installed) and is fairly comfortable to wear for long periods of time). Both the G29 and the G30 are two of my most favorite conceal carry pistols I own. I forgot to mention, I am 5'10" and around 180 pounds.

I've owned and carried both. Your right the 21 does point very well, I've put 5 out of 5 rounds on target at 5 yards with 100% target focus. I could never shoot the 30 very well expecially one handed, but it carried like a dream. The 21 was hard to conceal in the summer except in an IWB holster in the appendix position with a loose black shirt. In the winter however it carried fine and with a open top IWB holster in the 5 o'clock position it was and still is the fastest gun I could ever draw. The 21 is an exellent winter gun and depending on your location you migh be able to carry it most of the year and be very well armed. If you bought it now you could save enough for the 30 to carry during the hottest summer months. The 30 will of course accept the same magazines as the 21 and a flush fit 9 rd mag making the gun small enough to carry damn near anywhere. Good luck

I'm 6'0 220...wide shoulders and semi narrow waist...i wouldn't imagine it would be an issue

You can go both ways -- when I had a G21, the OWB carry was more comfortable, especially in a Tucker HF1 leather; kydex makes it a wide carry because of it's bulkier holster design. Snug leather always a plus for OWB carry of larger service weapons -- best carry for full-sized auto would be the 1911 in leather...
