7.62 x 25 Rifle?

Military gun Supply makes a PPsH41 clone in 7.62x25. It is a rifle, semi auto, 16 inch barrel, not the original short barreled subgun.

Oh hell, now you got me thinking how cool a levergun in 7.62x25 would be. Of course round nose bullets in a tube magazine aren't a very good idea <sigh>.

Supposedly, they're coming out with a 16" barrel PPS43.

Look at the picture....and let your face turn from this:) ...to this:evil:

My favorite SMG of WW2.

The only thing that I ever recall seeing which comes close to qualifying was a semiauto version of the old Russian PPsH. It's been several years ago, and I don't remember who made/imported it. I only looked it over, briefly, at a show because I have a mild fascination with firearms curiosa and this definitely qualified. The asking price was about $400, a good deal more than I was willing to spend for what would essentially (for me) be a 'toy', so I didn't examine it very closely.

Frankly, I doubt that you'll be able to find any longarm at all, other than a semiauto version of some European submachinegun, in this caliber. There's always the custom/conversion option if you simply must have one, but it isn't going to be inexpensive.

Sorry.

I saw an M1 carbine that was converted to 7.62x25. Supposedly some Gov't. test gun. I don't know how true the back story was, but the carbine was cool and shot well.

There's also the old Interordinance SR-41 semi-auto PPSH, which wasn't real well made and tended to start runaway slam-fires and then jam. I saw one yesterday. Long barrel, normal length shroud. Looks goofy.
