Software is mo' crucial than the hardware. Get any of the shotguns mentioned on this and try to wear it out. When the pile of empty hulls reaches your knees, you'll notice you've a fine tactical shotgun there...

Neat thing about my Youth H&R Topper 20 gauge Single Shot - I don't have to bend over to retrieve the hulls.
I don't get my tennis shoes dirty standing next to the bucket of fired hulls either.
I also learned if you cut a hole in a target, shoot slugs into hole , and not "miss the hole" you don't have to walk down to check/change targets.
All that bending over , walking back and forth just cuts into shooting time...
