GCO at Marietta Gun Show 15-16 Mar

Hey folks, I'll be a volunteer working the Georgiacarry.org table this Saturday at Noon at the show. Any THR's stop by and say hello, I'll be the big guy with the gray hair and the sour expression.

This is a good group of folks and have done a lot for RKBA in Georgia. If you're a Georgian and not a member - stop by and sign up as there's strength in numbers...

I'll be there at 9:00 when they open, I want to get a raffle ticket for the Thompson 1927, I may still be there at 12:00, I'll definitely come by if I am. I'm a GCO member, hopefully we can get my buddy who's coming to sign up.
I'll be looking for a Ruger LCP 380 for the GF, she needs a light weight carry piece for when she rides her bicycle. Hope to see you tomorrow.

KT, good luck finding a Ruger .380 at anywhere near going price at the show. Most of the stuff I've seen at the last couple has been very overpriced - but it's nice to be able to handle the stuff.

Folks, also try to meet Chris of Semperfiarms, best FFL transfers in the Atlanta area and a nice guy....

Yep, not a LCP any where to be had. Semperfiarms was one of the few vendors with decent product at reasonable prices. Pretty disappointing show for me, I was out of there by 10:15. They didn't even sell all the raffle tickets.

Made the show Sunday.
Passed on a $350 G26 w/ tritium, couldn't bring myself to pay $170 for a half case of GA Arms .223, was tempted by a new case for my M11/9, wound up buying a few small pistol cleaning tools. Oh, yeah - met the guys at the GCO display and gave them some cash.

I didn't see anything worth buying myself so I just worked the GCO table for a little over an hour - and signed up 2 folks...

Amish Bill - I picked up a Hafner case for my M11/9 that works well for a soft case. I've got the Lage upper w/folding stock and muzzle brake and it fits into a 24"W x 13.5"H case. It's got a zippered side pocket that will hold my Viper & 4 magazine pouches.

Right now I have my M11/9 and two-stage can in a Blackhawk pistol case. I'd like something that will hold a few mags too. ;-)
