I reload 223 and several handgun calibers. I started with the 44 Magnum. After much experimenting, I ended up with the Keith load. I have tried reloading shotgun shells, but I couldn’t get the crimp right. The BBs kept falling out in the action.

I discourage folks from starting to reload. I also encourage them to sweep their brass into neat piles, separated by caliber. So I think it works out in the end...

9mm, .223, 6.5 Grendel and 7.62x39 for me.

Llew...

We al lhav eou rdoslyskick moments.

Thnak dog not so when reloading!!

Ha, ha, if I found 1000 rounds reloaded when I woke up, I'd take 'em to my O-C friend and have him pull each bullet, weigh the charge--and correct it as necessary, and replace the bullet. Keep him happy for most of an afternoon, I imagine!

Yeah, "not sure" - lol.

If you wake up and 500 rounds are loaded up, you have to ask yourself whether it was the dreaded sleepwalking-reloading episode, OR was it the Reloading Pixie that visited, who operates much like Santa Claus?

I don't reload yet but I save rile brass and pick it up at the range. I am considering a new exercise routine though, get into reloading, get a cz52, and reload 7.62x25.

How about the dyslexic agnostic insomniac, that stayed awake all night wondering, if there was a dog!

I wouldn't want to shoot any of his reloads!
Thank God I wasn't drinking anything when I read that. My computer would have been ruined... ROTFL :D :D

Don't really reload that many rounds, just what I'm going to shoot at the range that day
I got into it to load steel for dove hunting, and duck-geese.
Haven't looked back.
BTW -did I tell you I favor the 7mm bullets?

Okay, that was a good one....:D

Didn't start reloading till I bought a mini 14 about 1980. Before that we had shot ten's of thousands of 22 but centerfire was a hunting item not play so didn't need a lot of it. Thank you Ruger for making a centerfire play gun for us semi-young men. New 223 was a killer so a couple of us began to reload. Been at it rifle, handgun, ever since.
No telling the cost over the years but it has been worth every penny.

I've got something around 50 different sets of dies sitting in the gun room right now. Four (yes, 4) progressives, two single stage and another two shotshell presses...set up. There's others cluttering up the place.

Only thing is that after a long day of making commercial ammo, I rarely FEEL LIKE making it for myself after getting home anymore.:banghead: Thank God for cheap factory seconds for the employees.

308 cause its getting way too expensive. Pistol rounds I don't yet have time to reload cause I only have a single stage RCBS press and that takes too long.

Dyslexic? Only with numbers, so every so often I'll go to my realoading supplier looking for IMR 6046 and 186 grain hp bt.

I reload for everything I own (except for RF). I now need to load about 200 rounds for a few ladders with me new .222 rem vintage benchrest rifle.

I just received a new micrometer Vickerman replica .222 seater that needs some TLC.

just started because of the reloading forum on this site.

havent actually loaded any yet.

tumbled some old brass, deprimed and full length sized about 200 .223 cases. all lake city once fired.

going to go with 25 grains of h335 under a hornady 55 grain vmax bullet. for my 45 im going with 4.6 grains of hp38 under a 230 fmjrn.

just about ready to start. today i picked up the h335 and hp38. also got small rifle primers and large pistol primers.

im about ready to start but i need a case length gauge insert for my lee wood ball trimmer and i still need to get a primer pocket tool and case chamferer

its as fun as the shooting for me.

oh yea, im going with the carbide factory crimp on the 223.
