When I start producing my own line of firearms, I'm gunna make sure to have an awesome logo to go with it.

Totally tattoo worthy.

Throw some color on that and it would be an awesome tat. Awesome even without, really.

These are kinda cool, although not my personal style...

The Browning logo has a tribal look to it. Kinda cool.

As a lifelong Chevy enthusiast, I've often considered a Chevy bowtie tattoo. But the extreme redneckishness (is that a word?) just holds me back. Besides, with my luck, GM will be owned by Hyundai in 20 years.

Just pray that CZ isn't owned by Jennings in the future :p

Not a Tattoo fan, but I can appreate it when its something unique for yourself, and not something that is just picked off the wall.

the Beretta logo would also look cool...

And I love my CZ rifle, but sadly the CZ 75b did not fit my hand well...the subcompact did better...

I would think that a tatoo of a AR-15 bolt face would be pretty cool- it would look like something tribal or industrial to people who don't know what it is.

You should send a letter to CZ along with some photos. They'll probably send you a big gift certificate or something.

Nice ink, but I hope you know that it's addictive? Means your wife will spend all her (and your) gun money on more tattoos!

I hope she ends up wanting to keep that. From what I hear it's extremely painful to get tattoos removed. That's why I don't have any. I met this girl recently who was having one removed and she had just had her 20th something visit to the doctor for laser treatment to remove 1 tattoo. She said it hurts like hell.

Otherwise, cool. I guess you don't have any problems with your wife and having guns in the house.

+1 I'd think they'd do something considering your wife is now a semi-permanent advertisement for them. Just hope they don't go out of business or change their company name!

My observation is that when people get a tattoo they down play the level of discomfort so as not to get the "I told you so" looks from the anti-tat folks.

Then if/when someone gets one removed, they play up the level of discomfort to convey to others "Don't do what I did or else this...".

I had a buddy get one small one removed. He said it felt exactly the same coming off as it did going on.

EDIT2: On second though, that might be a good tat. A statement of sorts on mass-consumerism. Or... if you like soup. I wouldn't condemn it.

Wait, isn't that kind of the point of it, even if it isn't a tattoo?

Thernlund - your explanation makes sense. I just won't get one because I hate pain and needles and know that I'd change my mind in a few years as to whether I like it.

Oh, you're not wrong to think that way. Mine wasn't very comfortable to get at all. Getting it felt like a cross between being cut with a butter knife and being mildly electrocuted at the same time. Afterward it felt like burning cat scratches or a very very bad sunburn.

But I must admit, after the whole thing is done, it's hard to not go back for more. :D

When It comes to tattoos, I would say the pain is slightly underrated. I have a decent pain tolerance, but this tattoo hurt like $@#^%$%&$. The again I was in the chair for 3 hours 4 times.

Tattoos in black arent bad, the outline didn't hurt that much. Shading was unpleasant, and color was a nightmare, but I am going back to cover the whole other side of my back. I Recently thought of having a gun tattoo but I don't know what yet. Gotta talk to my tattoo guy. Also the gun shop I was in had a really cool book on firearm manufacturers from A-Z.

If you do get a tattoo somewhere where your hands can be free, bring a magazine or a gameboy, it does help take your mind off the pain.

Here's mine three days after it was finished.

realmswalker, That is a pretty tattoo. It took 12 hours to do all of that? Mine took 3 hours to complete. WOW.

The pain was not that bad for me. It felt like a small jack hammer viberation with a slight needle stick. I do agree bring a magazine or gameboy with you. Time will fly by. My tattoo artist turned his music up and they played some cool tunes. I have not heard in years. I do love classic rock.

I thought long and hard before I commited myself to go in and get my tattoo. My first was 3 years ago. So I had that length of time to think long and hard about my new tattoo. I love it big time and I don't regrete it at all.

Thank you Mrs.Armoredman. It was actually more like 13.

I also wanted to mention that I like your tattoo, it looks like it was well done and is original. I don't know how long ago you got it but if it was fairly recently, Lotion is your friend. I don't know if they told you at the shop but get unscented.
