I just got a P-01 and now I need a way to carry it.
I've found that I tend to not like Kydex. It just doesn't feel as secure to me as a good leather holster does.
Also, the holster needs to keep the gun in close to my body and pretty high. I'm sort of leaning toward an OWB holster right now. I have summer CCW covered with my Kahr but I'd like to be able to use the P-01 for cooler months.
I'd appreciate any advice or leads.

HBE Specialty Leatherworks, carry my PO1 in an COMIII IWB rig, most comfortable hoslter I ever used. I also have a Bianchi M-100 IWB clip on IWB I don't use anymore, molded over time for a PO1. Works pretty good, but if you want GOOD, HBE is great.

Most holsters that fit the G19 will fit the PO1, I just bought a Safariland holster that fits those plus my Springfield Ultra Compact so that's good ...

In a pinch, a leather holster made for the SIG P228/229 with an accessory rail should work. My PCR Compact fits nicely in a Galco Summer Comfort IWB and a Dillon Leather by Mitch Rosen OWB. On the Galco packaging the P-01 is listed as an alternative fit. (Along with the Taurus 24/7.)

Thanks.
I've been hearing good things about the stuff HBE makes. What kind of wait time do they have?
Also good to know about the holsters marketed for other guns that might fit it. I'd like to start doing a little local shopping to see if maybe I can find something.
For some reason, I often find that holsters are not what I wanted them to be after I get them, and AFTER I've already paid for them. I'd prefer to not do this with my P-01.

Well..my lead time is about 2 weeks.......I dont recommend finding other holsters that fit the gun. The proper fit of the holster is very important in how it works, retains the weapon and if the weapon moves on you...it will wear your finish very quickly.
Take a look around and if we can help..then just yell.
Thanks and god bless

CZP-01 in a DC Special by Eric at HBW. Eric may be one of the best holster makers found on the net. However, he is without doubt, the best CZ holster maker found anywhere.

Thanks for the leads.
I've decided to hold off on getting a holster for the CZ for now. I've been trying to get used to it but not with much success.
As it is, it points very well for me and fits my hand better than the full sized ones I've had, but there is just something going on between my hand and the gun when I'm shooting that I don't like. I feel like I have to keep re-adjusting my grip and it's kind of irritating.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it right now so there isn't any point in getting a holster just yet.

I might wind up going back to a .357 revolver and just leaving it that. :(
