Recent gun show in NW Indiana. Someone is handling (I believe) an M-1 or M-14. Pulls the trigger and the gun fires. Fortunately, it was pointed towards the ceiling.
Dealer was immediately permanently ejected. He rightfully argued that this was the second day of the show and the gun had been handled many times. Someone thought it was a joke to put a live round in.
And guys wonder why I get cranky when getting swept. I really get tired of seeing the "Four Rules", but there is a reason they exist.
The one that is lacking to me is "always clear the action before handling a firearm".
