Port buffers were available from RTG parts as of last week. They also have wide handguards, bipods and some other goodies. I have no connection with this outfit other than sending them quite a bit of cash over the last year.

$50 for a clip on port buffer is a DEAL! Are you thinking of the metal piece that must be welded on?

Got mine.

Well made. I also have the German mode one.

Port buffer update, finally did some shooting with the port buffer on.

If you have a PTR91 and want to reload and you are on the fence about getting a port buffer, delay no longer. This thing is the ticket to keep your brass from getting the nasty ding on the mouth. Nothing you can do about the striations from the chamber but the buffer helps with the case mouth. This thing just snaps on and looks like it would last as long as the rifle.

I'll pile in, the port buffer is mandatory if you want to reload.

50 bucks for the clip on model is dirt cheap. Wasn't that long ago you couldn't find them anywhere, for any price.
