That site seemed interesting at first , there is alot of good info..... till I started reading some of the other stuff they spout out ........

Not sure how safe an experiment this was, either.

Im not saying the article is inaccurate , but alot of their other stuff is so it makes me second guess that article

I didn't see where it specified how thick the wall was. I have seen similar experiments with an AK, didn't take quite a whole magazine.

I really can't tell by the picture so I'll just ask.... how thick is that reinforced, concrete wall slab?

I can only guess that the reason that you blasted 500 perfectly good rounds at a concrete wall was for testing purposes for some sort of bunker that you are thinking about building. The possibility of you ever needing that type of structure is, hopefully, remote but it would be too late to start building it once the sh_t hit the fan so, "Good Luck" w/your project.

if you shot the wall with EXTREME SHOCK You would have to be wearing 10,000 sunblock because the wall would melt on the spot. Why do you think Ninja's use them??

It also depends upon the concrete mix design. 1500 psi concrete is easier to penetrate than 3000 psi concete, or 4000 psi.
Size and spacing of reinforcing bars will also make a difference, given that bullets ricochet off the steel.
The size and type of large aggregate will also make a difference to a lesser degree.

A glass bottle of gasoline with a lit wick in it will take out a concrete bunker just as fast as a grenade. Maybe faster!

As for the link in the OP, that appears to be an old sidewalk slab. More then likely poor or rotten concrete mix to start with.

The other thing is, we can assume the occupants of a bunker would take issue of someone setting out there and shooting at the same place until they wore a hole through a concrete wall!
