Carrying a G26

I am about 6'1" and 160 lbs... my G26 carries pretty well IWB in a Blackhawk size 6. Its not like carrying the P32, but it is still pretty comfy, and packs a ton more firepower. I don't have to dress like a gangsta to make it work either.
Hard to go wrong with the G26 IMO.

I decided I didn't like the Glock 26...too fat for its compact size.

I've previously owned a 23, a 17, and the 26.

I currently own a 17L, a 19, and a 20 OD...these prove I'm not anti-Glock :D

I sold the 26 and bought a, err...uhh Kel-Tec P11  I realize its not the same quality gun as the 26, but for a small 9mm with some ammo capacity I like the P11.

Its not a range gun for sure, and not that much fun to shoot with +P ammo, but it sure is a nice for-its-purpose pocket or IWB concealed carry gun.

The optional factory 12 shot magazines give it a 12+1=13 capacity...sounds like a P13 to me instead of a P11.

For the next size up, I prefer my Glock 19 to the 26 I once owned.

I make custom holsters as a part time business. I found that almost everyone is different in their shape, build, and preferences. If there is a custom kydex bender in your area, he/she should be able to make a holster for YOU that can carry "almost" anything you want. You can sometimes compensate for the grip size by adjusting the cant of the holster etc. I have "try" holsters that I use for measuring and fitting so the person can be sure that his new holster will fit and carry the way he/she wants it to and not be just another addition to the holster box. When possible, I like to mold the holster to the persons gun. Many people can get by and be happy with an off the shelf holster, but for some, off the shelf just doesn't do it due to their physical characteristics or personal preferences. Best of luck in your search.

I'm not skinny anymore, but not exactly fat. I recently started carrying a G26. Even thought he grip is relatively short, it is still somewhat troublesome to conceal because of it's width. I have been able to fit it in the upper pocket of a pair of Dickie's cargo pants, even with my hand also inserted.

The key to concealing Glock compacts and subcompacts is a good belt and IWB holster. I found carrying 3-4 o'clock to be best for most of my stuff around town.

5' 9", 160# -- G-19 at 4 o'clock, stiff bianchi belt, kydex paddle holster, sweater.

With anything G26 size or bigger, I've noticed that a good belt is almost as important than the holster for me, especially with high riding holsters. They seem to want to lean out and away from the body. A good, stiff, gun-specific belt seems to improve things mightily for me.

I'm currently carrying my G26 in a Fobus kydex paddle and am less than crazy about it. I'm probably going to invest in a good custom leather holster and belt as soon as money permits.
