I owned a G26 before and got rid of it to raise funds for reloading equipment. Now, I'm considering getting one again. Guess I miss it. The G19 conceals pretty well. But, not as well as the G26 would IWB. When hunting, I typically carry my G23 and don't have to worry about concealment. But, for around town, the G26 would probably be a better choice than my G23 or G19.

I had a G27 too. But, never really warmed up to it due to recoil. The G23 is much more manageable to me. So, not interested in a G27.

If I need deeper concealment, I have a pocket carry j-frame. So, the G26 would be iwb carry.

I carry a 17 IWB every day, and never found it to difficult to carry or hide. Even the full size Glocks really are not "big" guns.

I carry a 26 as a back up to the 17 a good bit, usually in an ankle holster, or this time of year, a Galco Executive. A lot of times, I just leave it on the front seat next to me where its easy to get to, and just stick in my waistband "appendix" style, when I get out.

My G26 is just about my favorite pistol...I just love shooting it at the range, and it is very easy to carry. I also own a G17. The G19 really holds no interest for me. It is a fine pistol, no doubt, but between the two Glocks I have, my bases are covered.

Get one!

You already miss the one you had, and you aren't one of the people who believes it's no easier to conceal than the bigger Glocks, and they are excellent shooters. Carve out a budget for it if you can. Sounds to me like if anything your 19 is the odd duck in the stable. Another superb pistol, but you've got a 23 for your woods carry gun, a 17, and the 26 indisputably carries easier and conceals better than the compacts.

Also I found that the subcompact Glocks shoot better than the bigger models, much better than I expected.

YES!

It fits in Woolrich Elite series pockets (just put it in a Nemesis holster and put a rag in the pocket to break up the outline). It's very accurate and accepts Glock 19 and 17 magazines. I use the A&G Grip Adapter on a few G19 magazines. This gives it a "bobtail" that perfectly fits my hand. Recoil is also slightly softer than the G19.

I just posted about my day of shooting on another post. I took the 26 and the 34 to the range and I was able to shoot both nearly as well. The 34 is faster and easier to control recoil because it's larger.
It took a few tries but I was able to hit a 6" plate at 50 yards with the 26!
I did put a grip extension on to give a home for my pinky. I'm not convinced it helps but it doesn't hurt and the extra round is nice.
I carry it IWB and ankle.
There may be smaller carry guns but I can't shoot them anywhere close to as well as I can shoot the 26.
I won't carry any gun I wouldn't feel confident shooting a headshot at 30'.

I picked up a Gen3 G26 with Meprolight night sights at the gun show today. Came with 2 magazines. The Gen4 G26 with fixed sights and 3 mags was $20 cheaper. But, after adding night sights, it would be way more expensive.

I use the finger extension on the G26 short mag as a way to improve my draw in the appendix position. It doesn't improve my shooting at all, though I do practice most of the time with a plain short magazine.

Meh, got rid of my G26 for a Kahr P9
Glad i did.
Much nicer grip size and smaller in width so its more comfortable to wear.
only down side is a couple less round capacity
