I love Rugers, but pocket 9s just seem the perfect carry to me for CCW. They're more compact and have more firepower and horsepower than .38 revolvers and carrying spare reloads is a lot easier for the concealed carrier. I carry a revolver a lot, too, and a speed loader is just a big lump that's a pain to tote. Speed strips are easier, but much, much slower to use if you need one. Spare me the "if you need more'n five, you're a duffus" comments. You just don't know what you're going to run in to on the mean streets.
I don't have a Kahr, prefer my Kel Tec, but I'm sure it's a good gun and I just like the pocket sized 9mm concept regardless of the maker. It offers some good advantages to the revolver IMHO. But, I like revolvers, too. I mean, I consider myself a revolver guy. I just know a better mouse trap when I see it for the purpose of 24/7 personal defense.
