which GLOCK?

okay, so i decided that i am only going to buy a glock if it is OD green or tigerstriped on the frame. but i have one question. does glock sell them that way? and i want it for range use. which model would be the best for that?
i am going to buy a glock later on down the road, but right now i am in love with CZ's. i am just doing research.

OD? Yes. Tigerstriped? Not from the factory.

Rent and shoot a glock (put at least a couple hundred rounds through one) before buying is my main advice. I discovered that I cannot stand them and sold my 17 last week.

Oh, and for range use, the 17 or 34...

The 34 is great for range use but not sure if it can be had in OD green.

The OD option can be had on the Glock...
17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 & 39.

I don't know all of the Glock models by heart. I'd go with the one in 45 ACP that has the best magainze capacity. If not that, then I'd look at the 40's with the best magazine capacity.

If you're absolutely sure it will never be pressed into service as CCW, then I guess I'd say G17 or G34 (or their 40 caliber cousins, the G22 or G35). But I'd be tempted to go with the G19 (G23). They are marvels in my opinion.

There are plenty of people who CCW G17s. A few who CCW G34s. And a smaller number who CCW either with lights attached.

So don't let the prospect of CCW scare you away from a full size Glock. It's not the most concealable gun, but it'll do.
