Greetings,

Wow...the links are messed up...

Do a midwayusa search on

MidwayUSA Tactical Rifle Gun Case with 6 Pockets PVC Coated Polyester

MidwayUSA Deluxe Tactical Rifle Gun Case 35" Polyester Black

I am looking for the cheapest one of both

Thank you

With the M4 stock the shortest rifle case you can buy will fit the rifle. With the optic on the carrying handle the height of the case will be the problem if anything.

Midway has a good return policy if your measurements are wrong.

My collabsible stock AR with 16" barrel fits in a 35 or 36 inch Blackhawk case with room to leave the stock expanded a few positions (where I usually shoot it).

I have a 36" 5.11 bag and my 16" fits with the stock in shooting position.

I think a 42" would fit a 20" A2 with no problems.

I have a 5.11 bag for my AR carbine. Fits well, I don't think you need to go any bigger.

My 35" DPMS would not fit a 35" BullDog Case had to get 40" for it to fit. The 35" is the exterior measurement. Ask the guy if he bought 15" tires and they would only fit 14.5" rims how would he feel. If it is a 35" case a 35" gun should fit! Bulldog did exchange with no problem.

Nice bag for the money.

His issue will be the scope mounted on the carrying handle, Midway has a good return policy. A tape measure will give you a good idea of if it'll fit, but the pistol grip and carry handle mounted scope can make for some awkward fits depending on the size of the scope.

The fine print is always important, like inside vs. outside dimensions and if outside measurements you will still have a guess factor depending on how thick padding and seams are.

There is a lot more to sizing tires than the rim diameter :) But replacements will fit if you order the same exact size as you have now (its molded into the side of the tire).

Midway is a very good place to buy from in this case as they will exchange it without hassle.

Kestak,

I have the 35" Midway Delux bag and it fits my collapsible stock, 16" barreled AR. It's a very nice bag for the money. The rifle secures inside with straps/pockets, then there is a second full length pouch, and a third smaller pouch within the second. On the outside are the 6 mag pouches and shoulder strap. It's nice being able to put your cleaning kit, spare parts, mags, and rifle all in a bag with shoulder strap.

35-36" cases for carbines
42" for 20" standard rifles
46" for 24" target/hunting rifles.

If you can afford a somewhat expensive soft case, check out what Brownells has to offer under their own name.

I have a couple of their cases and they are excellent.

Cheaper Than Dirt has a dandy case for the M4gery; well designed, well made, for about $47 last I knew. I had a Brownell's carry case that I was not that impressed with (very unusual for them) and ordered the CTD on a hunch. It's first class; I ordered a couple more as gifts in addition to mine.
