Thanks for the info, jackstinson. I was speaking frivolously; I am not a Bond scholar. It is a 418 but has the newer-type grips from 1956. Hey, since his grips were removed, they don't count! ;)

P.S. - you clicked on the picture, right?

1893 (approx) American Arms 5 shot top-break revolver. Originally chambered in 38 S&W, redone in 22LR.

How old is that revolver? I didn't know NAA was ever in Spanish Fork.
Not as old as mine that I bought new in 1978. It was made before they started putting the safety notches in the cylinder. I just put the hammer down between the rounds. Works the same way.

What's unmanly about small guns?

I propose they are more manly, because 1) you can be proud of still hitting things with the and 2) they recoil harder and blow more fire out the front.

I won't win this, but my Taurus M85 is a pretty small gun. The Savage Mk2 is a lightweight as far as rifles go (maybe I'll cut it down to 16", too...) and the Carcano is probably one of the smallest military rifles out there.

(and .410 inserts that make it even smaller :))

Totally reliable and easy to carry.

It's not accurate, it's not powerful, it's not much fun to shoot.
I don't know why I keep it except for the Browning heritage.
