Help me find a sxs double barrel 12 guage that points well and has a 26"-28" barrel with a single trigger. Thanks in advance.

Hammerless, under $1,500, I would like it to shoot 3" and/or steel shot.

I don't have one yet. Although I want a working gun. It doesn't need to have a beautiful finish as long as it shoots well, is balanced, and points like it should.

If you want a modern one (recent or new production) I would recomend you look at the Ruger Gold Label, CZ, or for slightly older ones search Ithaca and Husqvarna on Gunbroker.

Certainly you must have some kind of price range in mind. Do you want to spend more or less than $3000? Less than $2000? Less than $1000?

I wouldn't mind if it was in 20 gauge either I suppose and I also would like it to have auto-eject, if that's what it's called.

BALANCED, and well-built for that price range might be tough if you are talking about a gun that will also last.

A used AyA might be in your budget. The S&W Elite Gold that is currently discontinued and discounted would work - they are available ONLY in 20 gauge, but you can get English or POW grip, 26 or 28 inch barrel and single or double triggers...they WERE running around 1200, but now are creeping into the 1400 range. I own one and they are NOT as crappy as the Huglu guns from Turkey that CZ and others import. There were made by UTAS, originally sold for about 2400, and carry a lifetime and heirloom warranty from S&W for free repair. They have 3" chambers, chrome barrels, and come with fixed IC/M chokes

Sounds like the Browning BSS fit your needs. They are a fine shotgun, now out of production but still available, lightly used, in your price range.
