My replacement PT145 Mil Pro arrived yesterday!!! The review board authorized it on 1/6/11.Well ... they are going to replace it after all.
Wonder if something in the slide was out of spec, really curious.
The new pistol was degreased today, having way too much oil and white lithium grease. It's firing pin seems to be just a smidge longer than the 4.9mm replacement firing pins that I got...which were a smidge longer than the original firing pin.
This weapon has a serial number on the barrel, which my original (and it's replacement) did not.
There was no info as to why my original weapon was such a lemon.
Tomorrow is range day and it will be difficult hitting the target, as ALL of my fingers will be crossed in hopes of not having another "lemon".
