The smoothest I've ever felt was a Wilson Classic Supergrade, but I didn't own it. Smoothest I've owned is my Sig 226

Beretta 92 Steel 1. The slide operates like it's on ball bearings...

a hi-power my uncle had shot a bunch for years and it was well greased.

I think that a well cleaned weapon should be pretty smooth. All mine feel great when I move the slide.

Hmmmm, of those I own it's a toss up between a SIG 229 (.40 S&W) and my full sized Witness 10mm.

By now pretty much all of my auto-loaders run fairly smooth though. <grin>

My Beretta 90-two. The 92 series Berettas I've held seem to be a lot smoother than any other pistol I have handled.

my dan wesson patriot and springfield emp are both very, very smooth. but so is my sig 226, and my worn in cz-82 for that matter.

I'll say of the 20 or so semi-autos that I own, and of the 50 others that I've probably owned in my lifetime, the Beretta 92FS.

Yea my colt woodsman is pretty slick also, I lucked out I got 3 colt mags when I bought this pistol back in the early 70's.
