Refinish or leave it like this?

I've got the exact same model in similar condition. I like it and it shoots like a dream. I have a couple of refinished revolvers that I purchased and they look a bit off in color and where the words and numbers are stamped.

I wouldn't refinish a gun unless it was a professional restoration project.

I'm a project guy - refinish it. And use the guy that did the bluing for them...

It has character now but if no pitting you could contact Blue Ridge Blueing. he use to do DW pistols and could restore it maybe to it rich blue finish. It your DW was mine I would carry it as is.

My instinct is "leave it," too -- but what would you want to have done? That would seem to make a difference

Swarovski crystals everwhere? Gold tiger stripes?
