Just bought a knight Hawkeye pistol and contacted the old company for a manual as instructed on the web site. I was told not only that there are no manuals available, but that the gun is dangerous and not to shoot it. Crap the only time I splurge for a brand name in-line (used) and I get screwed.

Knight has a new owner.
Did they say why it was unsafe?
Maybe it has to do with something else besides the quality of the steel.
If it were the steel then one would think that there would have been a model recall and a record of it.

Maybe there was a problem with the sear, or something that would make an AD possible.
Or maybe it just doesn't have a safety.
Of course it's dangerous. It's a gun. It wouldn't be a very useful arm if it was safe.

Now, wait a minute, Jaymo; there are "safe" projectile-firing weapons. And they can even be produced as revolvers!

I could go into an entire "schtick" about using smokeless air, or too finely filtered air pumped to overpressure in the cylinders (because they've been "proofed" to 5.75 PSI); but I won't.
Not gonna do it.
Wouldn't be prudent.
