.22LR rifles: Comparing the Ruger 10/22 to the Marlin 795

I think we should have a good old fashioned shootout. Stock 10/22's vs Marlins, no rests allowed, and 50 yards the distance... LOL.

Marlin=Utility rifle, accurate and reliable from the box in most cases. Great for somebody that just wants a shooter.
Ruger=tweaker's delight, good out of the box. Spend the money and turn it into anything you can imagine.
Really no point in an argument here, two entirely different rifles.

Both are good rifles. Can't go wrong with either one.
