Teaching proper grip/stance especially with a pistol?

Plan2live is correct, one of the best tools for any beginning shooter is to learn to shoot an air pistol. Sight alignment and trigger control as well as cheap and safer repetition.
As I recall it's in the NSSF lession plans that we used back when I was an instructor.

I know that this thread is now a couple months old, but wow. I'd forgotten just how great the community here at THR is.

I've been busy with self-employment, and our first holidays without my dad. We haven't been able to shoot due to a torn rotator cuff in my strong side shoulder (just surgically fixed a week ago). However I'll be referring back to a lot of the excellent tips and advice given here. Once again a massive thank you to everybody!
