You might do a Google search. There are a couple of engravers here in San Antonio, but what might be very cool is to get a set of Texas Mesquite grips made with the Texas Ranger's shield, etc. There's a guy in San Angelo that does some excellent work. He sells 'em on ebay and can be contacted through his listing.
Ah, Army Ranger. I did search some on google, but I was hoping to spread some business to some THR guys or a friend of one if they do good work. I think he's going to replace the grips, I hope he goes for mesquite.
For the kind of engraving your friend is looking for, he would probably be able to meet his requirements by checking with the jewelry stores in the area. These jewelers will only do line engraving, but that would probably work better that real cut engraving for what he wants.
