What "gun bug" do you have right now?

I have been stuck on getting a .22 rifle. In a few months its will switch to handguns.

I have pretty much what I want at this point of time, nothing on my radar of wants or needs.

Not sure if that's a good place to be or not!!!!

The practical gun I really want is a Ruger Mini-30.

The whimsical want is a Taurus Raging Judge. Don't ask me why, I just think it's cool.

Savage Mk II FV-SR. I finally found one in stock and ordered it, but Bud's is swamped due to the current crazyness, and I'm coming up on 2 weeks without a shipping confirmation.

Beyond that, I'm waiting for the proceeds of a recent sale to come in so I can accessorize, but I haven't received payment yet.

To add further insult to injury, the Boyd's Tacticool stock is sold-out everywhere I've looked, so even if I had the rifle and cash in hand, I still couldn't finish the project.

I hate waiting.

Latest itch has been pistol cal. carbines. So far it's been semi autos in 9, and 45. I'm thinking of getting a HiPoint carbine in 40 because I don't have anything in 40 and that's what my son shoots. Still watching for a lever action in 357 that I can afford.

I need range time more than I need another gun.

Would like to continue my trend of acquiring HK or clones however... I have a bit of a German fetish apparently in both motorcycles and firearms, for better or worse.

I've had this on the list for a long time. I'm really kicking myself for never indulging sooner. Even before the rush on EBR's the price has been climbing on these. The good news is that by the time prices normalize, I'll probably be able to buy one.

This. When I don't get range time I start compensating by looking for gadgets and obsessing over mods to what's in my safe. Right now I'm researching parts for my AK...

None of which helps me shoot better.

I go through various "gun bugs", where I get obsessed with certain guns that I convince myself I must have.

I am obsessed with handguns right now. They just come in too many shapes, sizes, colors, etc. etc.
Ive got several I havent even shot yet and then last night I go and buy another one. (HP Practical) I think I need some sort of AA, maybe some sort of GBA? Gun Buyers Anonymous.
Course I only need a couple more to be able to rotate a new CHL for every day of the month.
I really do need to stop, not for financial reasons, but some of them are collecting dust and just not getting used.

A nice A2-style AR, another three or four SGL-21's, a Wingmaster, a CZ Redhead, a Glock 30, a Glock 20, a Glock 32, a Sig P220 Stainless, a 1911 from Springfield, Sig, Ruger, or possibly Remington, another SGL-21, an SGL-31, a long-range Savage 111, a S&W 696, an AR chambered in .243 Win, Benelli M2, a Savage 10 chambered in .243 WSSM, and maybe a handful of Kahr PM9's.

And hell, throw in another Wingmaster.

Dang it the disease is getting worse by the day (aka the list is getting longer)

The crazy thing is I don't even get to shoot what I do have that much. I can tell you what would be really really nice...my own indoor range. Like one of the reallly fancy ones you see on movies and TV shows.

To acquire either a Makarov or Polish P-64.
It will be my First handgun, but am willing to pay only market prices, FTF.

The other bug could require even more patience-willing to wait months for Prvi .303 prices to (maybe) come down a bit.

I've got the bug to get a 458 socom upper. Though I'm in no hurry to purchase one, especially at the prices I'm seeing right now.

I'd like to have a Springfield XDs with Crimson Trace attached.

Let's see, some .22 rimfire or food? Perhaps fill RX? Gas for my 4 cyl. 10 yr. old truck? Ah, the luxuries of retirement! So grateful for my 1.7% cola from social security.

I am badly fixated on a Glock 23 (Gen 4) project. I have a 31rd and a 22rd mag for it already. Want to get fiber optic front w/black rear sights, a tac light, a couple more 22rd mags, IWB and OWB holsters (tactical, and a DeSantis Speed Scabbard), and the pistol. Maybe add a steel guiderod for a little added weight up front...

I'm also warming to the idea of a Reminton 870 Express Tactical with a light, and a lever gun in .44 Mag.

I've been slowly acquiring parts to do a retro XM16E1 build for a while now, but Newtown has me on indefinite hold for getting an appropriate upper and lower.
