HMM...we give the NRA our money to speak for us

The government TAKES our money to tell us what to do......

anyone who isn't willfully ignorant can see which of those is a better deal

I can't watch MSNBC or read their articles because it ruins the rest of my day! :banghead:

No good options but if it saves up money we're winning by voting it's a waste of time. Otherwise you can vote for 'its common sense gun reform blah blah blah'.

I don't need to be told by this administration how to be a responsible gun owner. :banghead: Maybe they need to be told how to be responsible with my tax dollar!! :fire:

Can a million dollars buy gun safety?

I dunno. Let's offer Feinstein $1m to kill her own bill. Maybe it can buy our guns safety.

Attorney General Eric Holder said of the campaign: “As part of President Obama’s comprehensive plan to reduce gun violence, the administration is committed to working with firearm owners and enthusiasts to prevent tragic accidents and keep guns from falling into the wrong hands.”

Did anyone else literally laugh and choke simultaneously when they read this?

Anyone else see the irony of Eric Holder's name right below the quote:

The campaign will also encourage gun owners to report lost or stolen guns “to ensure public safety.”

I love the fact that all the answers are anti-gun. How stupid...

Why can't there be a box that I can check that doesn't have anything to do with gun reform???

Question: Is spending $1 million on a gun safety campaign a waste of money?

Box #1: Yes. They'll be outspent by the NRA anyway. Plus, no one pays attention to PSAs

Basically implying that gun owners arent ok with educating people on gun safety and we're all irresponsible

Box #2: No. It's a balanced approach to go along with smart gun-reform legislation.

Implying that we want gun control to go with it...

There needs to be a third choice that says "No, it will save lives!"

Tell me, which box exactly am I supposed to check???

Can a million dollars buy gun safety? The administration’s new campaign

What an asinine title! If one really could buy safety, I'd say budget 2 Billion.
