I was at the Fairfax Wal-Mart in Fair Lakes and they had 20 boxes or so of 7.63x39 Tulammo for $5.19 a box.I didn't buy any,I have plenty.

To continue the panic?

As long as people freak out when ammo does hit the shelves, it won't stay there long and the shortage continues.
Why not? Don't you like to laugh at people waiting in line for ammo or staring at empty shelves?

Not sure how you figure he is contributing to the "panic" by giving people a heads up. Do you consider advertising to be a problem? Things like flyers, commercial, and emails?

Kinda defeats the purpose of putting products on the shelf to be sold if no one buys them. Do that long enough, and stores would stop carrying ammunition altogether cause it wouldn't be worth their shelving space.

If you want the shortage to be over sooner, encourage people to cancel their backorders. If everyone who has ammunition backordered would cancel, you'd see overflowing shelves within a day.

I'm sure there can't be that many THR members in Fairfax and online at the same time, so I don't think he was giving away the farm by announcing it. It certainly did not warrant a harsh response. I've made posts when Cabela's and other stores have something in stock as a service to fellow THR members. It isn't like we have 1,000,000 members who will wipe out the nation's ammo supply in one day.

I'm in TX, so you are safe from me.:D

Blackhawk30, I'm sure a lot of folks appreciate the heads up. Thank you good sir.

UKWildcatfan, I agree completely with your comment. Let 'em cry...

So... is this thread being left open so that we can make fun of the OP... or... what, exactly? :uhoh:

Nope, its for the rest of us trying to pad our post count:banghead: or maby just maby to let fellow shooters know what ammo is where..........

My description over a week ago of the several types available at Ammoman.
He mostly had .223, 5.45x39, 7.62x54R, .40, .32 acp and Makarov.

But the use of exclamations marks (!!) seems to concern or irritate people.
